In addition to this title, Dr. Kleiner authored several editions of ART THROUGH THE AGES: A CONCISE HISTORY (Cengage), A HISTORY OF ROMAN ART (Cengage), and more than 100 publications on Greek and Roman art and architecture. The book looked great when I got it, a bit beat up around the edges but it would definitely do the job and for the first chapter it did. The book however skips chapter 15-19 which is a big problem! It’s not even like the pages were torn out by the last person, it’s literally printed into the table of contents that way! I’m not sure if somehow I just bought the wrong version or what but I feel if that is the case it should clearly state which chapters this book contains and which it doesn’t.
